CHEMICAL PEEL
What is a Chemical Peel?
Which Type of Peel Should I Pick?
There are 3 types of peels: superficial, medium and deep. A superficial peel will exfoliate the skin gently and only reaches the outermost layer of skin. A medium peel is best for damaged skin, as it reaches the middle and outer layers of skin. A deep peel fully penetrates the middle layer of skin making it the most intense but most effective at removing damaged skin cells. You will be sedated for a deep peel.
What’s Recovery Like?
A light peel may only cause the skin to appear flakey and dry as it takes 4-7 days to heal; a medium peel takes 5-7 days, and a deep peel will take about 2 weeks for the new skin to develop.
What Conditions Do Chemical Peels Correct?
- Uneven Skin

- Acne scars
- Sun damage

- Hyperpigmentation
- Wrinkles and fine lines

A few years ago, I was introduced to Esthetic Solutions by a colleague who always seemed to be just glowing in her own skin. (We all have those friends, right?) I wondered, “What did she know that I didn’t?” So, I asked… And, I’m so glad that I did as she led me to Emily.
Emily helps me slow the hands of time, and keep me healthy and happy in my skin care.
Knowledgeable and professional beyond anywhere I’ve been….won’t go anywhere else.
Thank you.
