Chemical Peels

What Are Chemical Peels?

Chemical peels can be applied in different strengths to the face, hands, and neck. They are used to remove damaged skin cells and reveal the healthy cells beneath for improved appearance and texture. A chemical solution will be applied to the desired area, which will cause the skin to exfoliate and, finally, peel off, revealing smooth, glowing skin.

The Way It Works

There are 3 types of peels:

  • Superficial—Exfoliates the skin gently and only reaches the outermost layer of skin.
  • Medium—Best for damaged skin as it reaches the middle and outer layers of skin.
  • Deep—Fully penetrates the middle layer of skin, making it the most intense but most effective at removing damaged skin cells.
