What is Halo™?
Are you ready to get your halo glow?
HALO™ combines two tunable lasers—at non-ablative (1470nm) and ablative (2940nm) wavelengths—in the treatment area to maximize results and reduce downtime. The non-ablative wavelength induces thermal injury and produces a coagulative effect that triggers your body to produce new collagen and elastin—the stuff that minimizes wrinkles. The ablative wavelength is similar to aerating your lawn. It cuts microscopic pathways in the skin, leaving the surrounding areas untouched.
What Can I Expect Before & During Treatment?
After your face is cleansed a topical numbing cream will be applied. Before treatment begins your eyes will be covered with safety shields. Expect the entire process to last 60-90 minutes.
How Long is Recovery & What Can I Expect?
Following your treatment your provider will send you home with post-treatment products. Expect 3-5 days of down time. Avoid direct sunlight until your face has completely healed.
